朱诺·迪亚斯

朱诺•迪亚斯(Junot Díaz;1968—)
出生于多米尼加共和国,六岁随父母移民美国。美国当代作家。处女作短篇小说集《沉溺》被公认为当代美国文学里程碑式作品。首部长篇小说《奥斯卡•瓦奥短暂而奇妙的一生》获全美书评家协会奖,次年又获美国普利策奖,并被美国主流媒体投票推选为“21世纪最伟大的小说”。2012年,出版短篇小说集《你就这样失去了她》,入围美国国家图书奖决选。 同年,迪亚斯荣获美国跨领域最高奖项之一麦克阿瑟“天才”奖。
 
Junot Díaz was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New Jersey. He is the author of the critically acclaimed Drown; The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, which won the 2008 Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Critics Circle Award; and This Is How You Lose Her, a New York Times bestseller and National Book Award finalist. He is the recipient of a MacArthur “Genius” Fellowship, PEN/Malamud Award, Dayton Literary Peace Prize, Guggenheim Fellowship, and PEN/O. Henry Award. Díaz is currently the fiction editor at Boston Review and the Rudge and Nancy Allen Professor of Writing at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
