林白

生于广西北流，现居北京。目前为自由撰稿人。上世纪八十年代初开始写作，先诗歌，后小说。著有长篇小说《一个人的战争》、《说吧，房间》《万物花开》《妇女闲聊录》、《北去来辞》等多部，另有中短篇小说《回廊之椅》《西北偏北之二三》及诗歌散文。获华语文学传媒大奖年度小说家奖、老舍文学奖长篇小说奖、人民文学长篇小说双年奖、新浪中国好书榜年度十大好书等荣誉，曾获首届及第三届中国女性文学奖。第九届茅盾文学奖提名奖。2017年出版诗集《过程》。

Lin Bai, born in Beiliu, Guangxi Province, nowlives in Beijing as a freelance writer.She started writing in the early 1980s. She was a poet before she began to write novels. She authored a number of novels, including A War of One's Own, Speak, My Room, Watching the Empty Years Pass By, The Records of Women's Gossip and Going North, as well as several novellas, including Chair in the Corridor and A Few Things about North by Northwest and a few poems and essays. She was named the Novelist of the Year at the Chinese Literature Media Award and won the Lao She Literary Award for Novels, the People’s Literary Biennale Award for Novels, etc. Her book is one of the Top 10 Bookson Sina’s List of Outstanding Chinese Books. She won the 1st and the 3rd Chinese Women’s Literature Award and was nominated for the 9th Mao Dun Literature Prize. In 2017, a collection of her poems, Process, was published.
