保丽娜·弗洛雷斯

智利小说家,1988年生于圣地亚哥,毕业于智利大学西班牙语文学专业,曾在小说家亚历杭德罗•桑布拉的写作工坊学习写作。2014年,凭短篇小说《奇耻大辱》获得罗贝托•波拉尼奥短篇小说奖,次年同名短篇小说集出版(简体中文版定名为《最后假期》),获评智利艺术评论界最佳新人小说家奖和圣地亚哥市立文学奖。目前保丽娜在圣地亚哥担任教师,同时正在创作自己的第一部长篇小说。

Paulina Flores was born in 1988 in Santiago, Chile. She acquired her Degree in Hispanic Literature in the University of Chile. Her first book, Qué Vergüenza (Humiliation), won the Roberto Bolaño Prize, the Critics Circle Award, the Literature Municipal Prize and was selected as one of the 10 best books of 2016 by El País newspaper in Spain. It is in process of translation to 7 languages, including Chinese and Japanese. It has been praised as "a brilliant book, which recovers the capricious rhythm of the disagreements, the moment in which defeats matter less than the desire to share them" (Alejandro Zambra), "Literature as alive as Chekhov's and Munro's" (Carlos Pardo, Babelia), "Nine round stories that make up an extraordinary book"  (Aloma Rodríguez, Letras Libres). She is writing her first novel.
