皮特·恩格伦

1957年出生于瑞典布登。作家，记者，历史学博士，瑞典乌普萨拉大学教授。上世纪八十年代开始非虚构历史文学写作，并曾长期在巴尔干地区、阿富汗、伊朗从事战地记者工作。代表作品有《伏尔塔瓦》、《兵荒马乱的年代》、《美丽与哀愁》和自传《我还记得》等。作品已被译成十多种语言，荣获多个国内外文学奖项，如1993年的奥古斯特大奖和2002年的拉格洛夫文学奖。2002年入选为颁发诺贝尔文学奖的机构瑞典学院院士，2009年至2015年担任瑞典学院主持日常工作的常任秘书。

Peter Englund, born in Boden, Sweden, in 1957. He is writer, journalist, Ph.D in history and professor at Uppsala University in Sweden. He started to write in the 1980s and had worked as journalist during the war in Balkans, Afghanistan and Iran. His representative works include Battle of Poltava, Years of the War, The Beauty and the Sorrow, and an autobiography I Remember. His works have been translated into many languages and won literary prize both in Sweden and abroad, such as August Prize in Sweden in 1993 and the Selma Lagerlöf Prize for Literature in 2002. He was elected in Swedish Academy 2002 and from 2009 to 2015 worked as the Standing Secretary of the academy.
