叶兆言
1957年出生于江苏省南京市，当代作家。1980年开始发表作品，1986年获南京大学中文系硕士。著有中篇小说集《艳歌》《夜泊秦淮》《枣树的故事》等，长篇小说《一九三七年的爱情》《花影》《花煞》等，散文集《流浪之夜》《旧影秦淮》等。作品曾获全国优秀中篇小说奖、首届江苏文学艺术奖。
Ye Zhaoyan, born in Nanjing in 1957, is a famous contemporary writer. He began publishing in 1980 and received a master's degree in Chinese from Nanjing University in 1986. His works have won the National Outstanding Novella Award and the First Jiangsu Literature and Art Award. Nanjing: The Biography is his latest prose collection, which is the most anticipated city biography of the year.
